Castagnito is located 10 minutes by road from the center of Alba, a town known for its prized
white truffle and its lovely wines. It is a small town immersed in the green hills of the Roero,
overlooking the panorama of the Cottian Alps and Monviso who offers visitors the
opportunity to take relaxing walks among the vineyards, ride a mountain bike or go trekking
on horseback (riding 200 m) to enjoy unforgettable landscapes.
The Farmhouse
Historic Piedmontese farmhouse of 1700, located on the border of the ancient medieval
concentric (hence the name “Cascina del Ponte” due to the presence of the drawbridge) has
been restored in all its parts and offers visitors two welcoming environments to spend in a
peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for your holidays. The property, located in the ancient fief
of the family of Count Alessandro Roero, is immersed in a pristine hilly landscape and allows
you to spend relaxing days, enjoy the aromas and scents of wines and savor the ancient
pleasure of the countryside with its colors.
